MentorNet Transitions
We're pleased to announce that Dr. Jennifer Chou-Green, project director for MentorNet's Academic Career
E-Mentoring program, has stepped into the role of director of programs. In other staff news, Andrea Kuduk
returns to MentorNet to serve as assistant director of programs, partnerships, and operations. Dr. Christine
Min Wotipka, assistant director of programs, left MentorNet to join the education faculty at the University
of Minnesota.

Recent MentorNet Events
On May 11, a letter signed by 6,680 individuals, many from within the MentorNet community, was presented
during a Capitol Hill press conference to Senators Wyden and Allen, drawing attention to the issues and
need to address women's underrepresentation in scientific and technical fields.
On May 19, 85 attended MentorNet's breakfast briefing "From Debate to Action" featuring UC-Santa Cruz
chancellor Denice D. Denton as the keynote speaker and a panel of other distinguished speakers.
