New System Makes Finding a Mentor Easier
Students seeking mentors will no longer be frustrated by having to select a mentor from among dozens of choices. With MentorNet’s new matching system, students automatically receive up to five mentor candidates and have two weeks to make a selection. If the student doesn’t make a choice, MentorNet will make the match for her. Additionally, the new system will help more students make good matches with mentors. “We’re already making matches at an accelerated rate,” said Jennifer Dockter, MentorNet’s Director of Programs, about a week after the system went live.
