Partnership Benefits
All participating campuses will receive the same benefits, outlined as below:
- Accessibility for all students, postdocs, and early career faculty to take advantage of the MentorNet program at no cost to the individual participant
- High quality services to protégés and mentors, including timely and personalized online coaching and facilitation, enhancing the likelihood of satisfactory e-mentoring experiences
- A large pool of engineering and science professionals from hundreds of corporations, organizations and government labs as potential mentors for students
- A state-of-the-art matching program, matching protégés with mentors across the US and internationally, based on both their backgrounds and expressed preferences
- Specific benefits in the areas of Program Support, Reports and Evaluation Services, and Recognition and Public Relations as follows:
Program Support
- Posters and brochures to assist protégé and mentor recruitment upon request
- Recruiting materials available on the MentorNet web site
- No limit on numbers of protégés participating
- Option for multiple campus representatives (with one designated primary contact)
Reports and Evaluation Services
- Online, up-to-the-minute reports on participating protégés, including information about their match status and their mentors such as employer, position, and location (See Demo of Partners Resource Center)
- Online access to campus specific evaluation results
Recognition and Public Relations
- A draft press release for distribution from your campus
- Recognition on our web site and in other publications and materials
Fees
MentorNet is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization and is supported by our partnership fees.
