Muskingum College
Muskingum University
Muskingum University’s picturesque 215 acre campus provides the setting for academic exploration and growth for 1,600 full-time undergraduate students. Located in New Concord, Ohio along Interstate 70, Muskingum is one hour east of Columbus.
As a four-year coeducational college affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA), Muskingum’s liberal arts and sciences program presents students with over forty academic and pre-professional opportunities, along with a full range of teacher licensure areas. With a 16:1 student-to-faculty ratio, classes are kept small and personal, with significant opportunity for collaborative learning and student research. More than 90 percent of students live on campus or within the village of New Concord, allowing for ample opportunity to participate in any of the more than 90 clubs and organizations on campus.
Muskingum offers the Master of Arts in Education, Master of Arts in Teaching, Master of Information Strategy, Systems and Technology degrees and has recently begun an adult degree completion program.
We offer degrees in Biology, Chemistry(ACS), Computer Science, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering Science, Conservation Science, Enviromental Science, Molecular Biology, and Neuroscience. We participate in a 3-2 Engineering program, a 3-1 Medical Technology Program, and a 3-3 Doctors of Nursing program.
