Campus Partners: Join Now and Save

You can save 10 percent if you'd like to join MentorNet as a new campus partner, or rejoin if your campus partnership has expired. Just complete the sign-up process by June 15. Marine Technology Society Inaugurates Affiliated Partners Plus Program

The Marine Technology Society has joined MentorNet as our first Affiliated Partner Plus. This new program allows members of professional societies to be MentorNet mentors, and student members can participate in our One-on-One Mentoring Programs as protégés. Winning Student Leaders

The five members of the Student Leadership Corps who earned the most points in helping MentorNet match new pairs are Tulika Datta, Michigan State University; Dana Schwarz, University of Wisconsin, Madison; Brianne Le, Kapiolani Community College; and Diane Wilson, Pennsylvania State University. The winners received Boomtube speakers donated by Virgin Electronics

WEPAN/NAMEPA Conference Events

MentorNet is participating in the following presentations at the annual WEPAN/NAMEPA conference in Las Vegas:

April 10: "MentorNet Behind-the-Scenes: Demo and Discussion," preconference workshop by Carol B. Muller, MentorNet founder and CEO, and Christine Min Wotipka, assistant director of programs. Free for conference attendees. Get details here.

April 11: "Advancing Women on Engineering Faculties: MentorNet's Academic Career E-Mentoring Program" paper presented by Carol Muller as part of a panel on faculty promotion and tenure. Other participants include Susan Metz, Stevens Institute of Technology; Joann Lightly, University of Utah; and Barbara Bogue, Penn State University.

April 12: "Someone Who Looks Like Me—Research and Best Practices in Mentoring Among Multicultural Women," panel discussion of research, expert testimonials, and audience Q&A, with moderator Lisa Norwood, assistant dean of Engineering Undergraduate Studies, University of Rochester; Carol Muller, MentorNet; and Margaret Ashida, Peggy Henderson, and Calline Sanchez, IBM.
